"Evil wields shame to destroy us." – Dr. Curt Thompson
Shame destories God's narrative of beauty and goodness in our lives.
"God restores us by restorying us." – Dr. James K. A. Smith
The Hope-Brained Way The Hope-Brained Way sets about the mission of mending the shame story of emotional and relational brokenness with the shalom story of spiritual and vocational wholeness.
Hope-brained restory catalyzes hope by resourcing restory:
to help people “reinterpret brokenness” in the content of their stories,
in the context of God’s story and in community with others’ stories,
for the purpose of communicating a better story of reconciliation, regeneration, redemption and restoration.
A five-day/four-night intensive retreat OR eight weekly sessions designed to engage all of the gospel, all of the mind and all of God in the work of trauma-informed spiritual formation.
A two-day/six-session professional growth opportunity (1 CEU) to discuss the synchronization of theology with psychology, neurology and sociology in the work of spiritual hope for ruptures, emotional and relational healing and repair, and vocational human flourishing and resilience.
